Every orphan and widow deserves basic needs given with care and dignity.
Hear from supporters who experienced life-changing moments working with orphans.
For many years I had the desire and urgency to teach and share my blessings with children in China! It was with great joy and also a great deal of trepidation that I traveled with Global Partners in Life to China to assist with the tremendous needs of the children with many disabling handicaps and great medical needs!
As volunteers, we played and loved on these young children. Through donations of many supporters, we were able to buy groceries such as rice, fresh vegetables and fruit for them to last for several months! You even provided the funds to buy supplies of meat/protein for the children. We bought medical supplies and school supplies.
What a blessing to sing with the children and help them eat nutritious meals, watch them play with laughter, and assist them with crafts and games — we ALL smiled in the same language!

We sought to bless the children with your donations of money, time and resources, but it was the humble and grateful children at the Home of Joy who changed my life forever!
Make a difference in our world. Partner with GPiL and change the life of a precious child!

Global Partners in Life (GPiL) has been a part of my life since 2009 when I began financial support. A friend told me about the work they do and my love of children took it from there. In 2010, I was privileged to travel to Asia with a group volunteering in a special needs orphanage.
I will never forget the first time I crossed the threshold into that orphanage. The sights, smells and sounds of the place were overcome by the rush of children trying to be the first to hug the legs of then Executive Director, Beau Sides. They couldn’t wait to get to him! This is an organization that helps in so many practical ways while never forgetting people are the reason why. It is not a distant, cold or “just throw money at it” kind of non-profit. This had a deep impact on me. So much so, I traveled many times back to that orphanage and I have traveled to South America with GPiL, too.
This year, I was able to share the experience with my husband and some friends, all of whom say it was life-changing for them. I think what we all mean when we say this is that it is priority shifting. We spend a lot of time majoring in the minors, getting rattled by small things in our lives. We fail to see the big picture or the purpose or the ways in which our lives can make a difference in the lives of others. One of those ways is by supporting GPiL. Give, go, be change and be changed.
