The Board of Directors is a governing
body consisting of 8 men. The Board gives wise council, direction, integrity,
and assures that Global Partners in Life is in compliance with the Articles
of Incorporation from the State of Georgia and the Bylaws of non-profit
organizations as established by the State of Georgia.
Mark Lawrence
Mark joined CompuCredit in 1999 as IT Director. He has over 20
years of experience in information technology and now serves as
the Chief Technology Officer for CompuCredit as well as overseeing
I.T. Operations. During his 9 years at CompuCredit, Mark
has helped facilitate the expansion of the company’s infrastructure
to handle acquisitions and mergers of call center operations (both
on- and offshore), new product development/support/planning and
serve as the executive sponsor for major technology initiatives.
Prior to CompuCredit, he served as IT Operations Director for an
Atlanta-based direct marketing agency. Mark worked as a Principal
Consultant with XLConnect (now a services division of Xerox) from
1995 to 1997 and, before returning to the private sector in 1995,
held technical and management positions within the Federal Civil
Service system for nearly 10 years in the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) and U. S. Air Force (Logistics Command). Mark began his professional
career with General Electric’s Medical Systems division. He
completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Georgia
in 1980 where he also served as Staff Instructor during post-graduate
studies.

Mark Miller
Mark is a business leader, teacher and author. As a vice president
for one of America's great organizations, Chick-fil-A, Inc., he
is responsible for the Training and Development. Chick-fil-A is
a multi-billion dollar restaurant company with over 1250 locations
which employ over 40,000 team members. After beginning his Chick-fil-A
career in a local restaurant, he has served on the corporate staff
for almost 30 years.
When you combine Mark's observations regarding the creation of this
amazing company with his communication skills, it's easy to understand
why he is in demand as a teacher. He teaches on leadership, team
building, creativity, customer satisfaction, and many other topics.
His speaking engagements have taken him literally around the world.
Audiences in Africa, Asia, Europe, the former Soviet Union, central
America, and across the United States enjoy his energy, passion
and pragmatic style.
Recently, Mark teamed up with Ken Blanchard, co-author of The One
Minute Manager to capture Chick-fil-A's approach to leadership.
The resulting book is entitled, The Secret - What Great Leaders
Know and Do. Domestically, over 100,000 copies are currently in
print and the book has already been translated into 17 languages.

David Millican
David is the president of Trison Group Inc., a general contractor
and consulting firm with their office in Tyrone Georgia. He has
his Bachelor degree in Architectural Engineering. In addition to
his work at Trison Group Inc., David enjoys serving on several boards
and He is the founding member of RUN CLUB USA. David and his wife,
Lori, have three boys, and they live in Fayetteville, Georgia. In
his free time David enjoys golf, running, sailing, and family camping
trips.

Dennis Parman
Dennis is a graduate from Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music
where he majored in the Aviation program. He has been employed as
an Air Traffic Controller for more than 20 years, and his family
also runs a riding stable. Dennis is active on multiple Boards,
and he enjoys traveling. Dennis and his wife, Karen, have 5 children;
Kortney, Brock, Mickel, Taylor, and Daelee.

Alan Reynolds
Alan attended Clayton State College, and he has had employment
positions at the national, regional, and director’s levels.
His career has covered several industries such as retail, airline,
shipping, and manufacturing, but mostly he has been involved in
sales. Alan has held various leadership roles on multiple Boards
of Directors. Truly, Alan enjoys helping other people! Alan and
his wife, Patti, have two daughters, Morgan and Macy.

Chuck Floyd
Chuck graduated in 1978 from the Georgia Institute of Technology
(B.S. Economics). Then he graduated from Suffolk University Law
School in June 1981. He was admitted to the State Bars of Georgia
(1981) and Pennsylvania (1992). Chuck has engaged in the private
practice of law concentration in the areas of civil and criminal
litigation since August of 1982. He has and does represent corporate,
municipal, and individual clients.
Chuck currently serves in the elected capacity of Chief Magistrate
of Fayette County, Georgia.

Beau Sides
Beau is a graduate of The University of Georgia where he majored
in Psychology. He graduated in 1982, and then received his Masters
of Business Administration from Almeda University. He feels he has
been fortunate to work with some wonderful companies, like IBM.
While with IBM, he was in IT management and continued in that career
path with other companies. He has served on multiple Boards of Directors,
and he continually strives to increase his knowledge of management
and leadership. He truly enjoyed the traveling he did with his work,
so he is glad that his traveling has continued. He has visited other
countries on multiple occasions, and enjoyed the other cultures.
He is married to Leah, and they have two dogs and a cat. Beau enjoys
sports very much.

Robert Ervin
Robert attended Arkansas State University and began his career
with Ford Motor Company, Ford Parts and Service Division, in 1974.
Robert had an extensive career in the cost and general accounting
areas in the Chicago and Atlanta Parts Distribution Centers. After
over 30 years of service with Ford, Robert retired as the Financial
Controller of the Atlanta Parts Distribution Center in January 2005.
During his career at Ford, Robert traveled to other Ford facilities
teaching and training other Financial Controllers and Analysts.
Robert’s teaching, training and helping others soon became
his passion, both inside and outside of Ford. After he retired from
Ford, Robert pursued and earned a Master of Arts Degree and is currently
teaching a variety of subjects, including leadership development,
on a volunteer basis. Robert has served in leadership roles on multiple
boards and teams for non-profit organizations.
